How do I Set Up The AI Slides App?

Creating engaging, on-brand content for digital signage doesn’t have to be time-consuming or complex. The AI Slides app simplifies the process by automatically generating ready-to-use slide content based on a few simple prompts.

By describing your presentation and adding any specific instructions, users can quickly produce professional, visually optimized slides tailored for digital signage—whether for internal communications, announcements, dashboards, or promotional messaging.

What You'll Need:

  • A compatible digital signage player e.g. Mvix, BrightSign, etc.
  • An Active Signature Plan
  • Internet Connectivity

Getting Started

  • From the CMS dashboard, (1) hover over the "Media" module and select "Add Media".
  • (2) Click on the "AI Toolkit" button on the left and then (3) select the "AI Slides" app.
  • First, you'll need to confirm if you account has credits to use this app. This can be confirmed by (4) clicking "Usage" at the top-right.
  • If you have credits, the (5) first section will be for describing your presentation. This is where you should place the most information for the content that the AI Tool will populate on the guide.
    • Tip: We recommend being as descriptive as possible as this will output the most accurate slide deck to your needs.
  • Then, (6) add any additional instructions. This is mainly to control the design of the slide deck so "use only one header per page", "have the text column on the left side", or other instructions should be typed out here.
  • At the bottom-left of the input fields you'll see (7) additional options. These are:
    • Theme: The overall design theme for your slide deck. We recommend keeping it on the default as it encompasses most designs.
    • Text: The amount, tone, your audience, and language that your text will be in.
    • Image: Choose a source, model, and style for the images generated.
    • Card: Select the dimensions for the slide deck. We recommend 16x9 to match the common style.
  • Once you have finished setting up the options, (8) click "Generate" to begin the creation process. Please note that this could take a few minutes.
    • If you would like to view old designs, click the three dots to the right.
  • Your slide deck will (9) populate below your prompts once the process is completed. Hover your mouse over the icon, then the three dots at the top-right to download this pdf.
    • Tips & Tricks: We highly recommend that you review and edit the PDF document for any minor corrections needed. If any changes are made, you will need to upload the PDF to the CMS separately.
  • If the slide deck looks good, click on the icon to select it. Then, (10) name your media something easy to reference and (11) click "Save Media" to add it to your media library.
