How do I set up Amazon Signage Stick with Mvix CMS

We have partnered with Amazon Signage Stick to provide a digital signage solution that combines a powerful, cost-effective media player with the enterprise software of Mvix CMS. This wireless solution is both easy to set up and is powered by our Standard Software Package.

Flex Requirements for Amazon Signage Stick

  • Purchase a supported Amazon Signage Stick device
  • Existing Amazon Account
  • Wireless network connection
  • Amazon Signage Stick remote
  • A mobile device or computer connected to the internet

Setting Up Your Amazon Signage Stick

  • Connect the HDMI output to your display and plug in your USB-C power adapter.
  • For a brand new Amazon Signage Stick device, you’ll see the following screen appear on startup

  • Hold the HOME button on your remote for 10 seconds until you see the Signage Stick screen

  • Select your preferred language

  • Select your WiFi network and enter your password
  • After you’ve connected to your WiFi successfully, your Amazon Signage Stick will display a pairing code for you to navigate to console.signage.amazon.com to complete setup

  • Input your pairing code as shown on your device, and select “Mvix” as your preferred Content Management System, then click “Save”

  • Please allow a few minutes for your Amazon Signage Stick to install the Mvix Application.

Activate Your Device

  • In order to leverage Mvix CMS on your Amazon Signage Stick, the Mvix Client Success team must activate your device
  • Once you’ve installed the Mvix Application on your Amazon Signage Stick, you’ll see the following screen for Activation

  • Email the client success team (support@mvix.com) to activate your player with your preferred player name and Activation Code as supplied on screen. 
    • Self Activation through the QR code is available only for trial Mvix CMS accounts
  • The Mvix Client Success team will review your activation details and set up your client account along with your device registration - this process is usually completed within 1 business day.
  • Once your device is activated, the activation screen will disappear, and the device will begin playing Mvix sample content.

Schedule Your Content

  • Your device setup is now complete, and you can access cms.mvix.com using your account login credentials.
  • Moving forward, you will use the CMS to schedule and manage your devices and their playback content.
