The Box Office App is one of our staples for movie theaters that allows organizations to showcase upcoming shows, movies, or performances directly on their digital signage screens.
With automated scheduling, eye-catching layouts, and real-time updates, this app simplifies event promotion and enhances the moviegoer experience.
To begin, log into your Mvix CMS account and hover over the media module then click “Add Media”.
Then, (1) click on “Select Suite” and (2) select “Box Office” from the available apps.
Your first option is to select the theme you would like to display on your screens. Simply (3) click on the theme you'd like to select.
Next, you'll need to attach (4) a data source. We have three available options:
Import File: Upload a .csv, .xml, or .json file with the appropriate information. (we have samples available to download that show the correct formatting)
Web Feed: Paste a URL that will automatically update when the url is updated
Add/Edit Items: Manually enter individual movie information
After that, we recommend adjusting the branding to ensure that the font style & colors match your theater's brand guidelines
We also offer (6) advanced settings so that you can adjust the language, outer background, and animation duration.
When you are satisfied with the setup, we recommend that you (7) click "Preview" to confirm that the design matches your setup. Then, (8) name your file and (9) click "Save Media" to add this to your media library for publishing.
